This kit combines our standard 12" Pier Top Plate with our 8" adapter for the SkyWatcher EQ8 mount. The EQ8 adapter mounts to the 12" pier plate with stainless steel shoulder bolts from underneath. The EQ8 adapter includes the stainless steel centering bolt and azimuth control post that perform the same funtions as the EQ8 tripod head. The 8" EQ8 Adapter kit may also be purchased separately.
This combination may also be purchased with our 3/4" stainless steel anchor bolt kit.
