Compatibility:
This kit combines our standard 8" Pier Top Base kit with our 8" adapter for the SkyWatcher EQ8 mount. The EQ8 adapter mounts to the 8" base plate with stainless steel bolts from underneath. The EQ8 adapter includes the stainless steel center bolt and azimuth control post that perform the same funtions as the EQ8 tripod head. The 8" EQ8 Adapter kit and the 8" Pier Top Base kit may also be purchased separately.
This combination may also be purchased with our 5/8" stainless steel anchor bolt kit.
