Compatibility:
This kit combines our standard 8" Pier Top Base kit with our 8" adapter for the iOptron ZEQ25 mount. The ZEQ25 adapter mounts to the 8" base plate with stainless steel bolts from underneath. The ZEQ25 adapter includes the stainless steel centering bolt assembly and azimuth control post that perform the same funtions as the ZEQ25 tripod head. The 8" ZEQ25 Adapter kit and the 8" Pier Top Base kit may also be purchased separately.
Note: The ZEQ25 mount is very short-coupled. There is a risk of the counterweight striking the pier plate at low latitudes (we have tested the mount down to 28 deg south latitude). We do not recommend mounting this adapter to our 12" pier top plate.
This combination may also be purchased with our 5/8" stainless steel anchor bolt kit.
